Hi! I’m Annie Calvaneso.
I’m a body-positive health and fitness coach who specializes in helping you heal your relationship with food and exercise while accomplishing your goals.
Growing up, my self-worth was so closely connected to my appearance that I struggled to show up fully in my everyday life. At parties, I couldn’t have fun because I was worried about food. When I was performing, I was focused on my appearance. Even after my hospitalization and recovery from my eating disorder, I still felt the pressures that diet culture and society put on us every day. I’ve tried almost every popular health and fitness routine or diet plan out there.
It wasn’t until after I found strength training and intuitive eating that I began to ACTUALLY enjoy fitness- not to mention my life.
I went from insecure to healthy and empowered by educating myself on what it actually means to be fit and healthy, then implementing those lessons.
As a result, I don’t worry about my appearance, what I’m eating, missing the gym, etc.
I don’t stress about food or exercise.
And I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been.
Since then, I’ve helped over 300 clients make health and fitness a sustainable part of their lifestyles without dieting, excess cardio, or stress.

Hi there! My name is Madeleine Gotschlich and I want to help you achieve your goals while reshaping your mindset surrounding health and fitness! A little about me - I'm a professional opera singer and fitness enthusiast with a passion for soaring high notes, perfectly applied red lipstick, and lifting heavy things. I am also the creator of "Let's Talk About Fatphobia in Opera", a video essay which examines several elements of fatphobia, how it permeates society, and specifically how it affects those in the opera industry.
My fitness journey began three years ago when I reached out to Annie because I wanted to learn more about health and fitness as well as develop my overall strength and stamina without having to focus on weight loss. With education from her, as well as extensive self-study, I have developed a love for exercise and a healthy relationship with food - things which, as a fat woman, felt completely inaccessible to me before. My journey has driven me to share the joy I find in movement, educate myself on the roots of weight stigma, and work on increasing inclusivity in fitness spaces. Through my content, I strive to spread compassion, love, and joy while educating people on health and fitness in an accessible and uplifting way.

“Working with Annie was a fantastic experience for me. I was an athlete in high school and have been active throughout my life. I’ve always had trouble sticking with something and had a lot of guilt and emotional stress in response to the way I looked, with eating, etc- like many women.
When I moved (and started working for the Staatsoper), it was time for a change. In my first couple months at my new job, I realized my schedule was insane but I really wanted to put in good habits I could stick with and prioritize. It was really nice to figure out exactly what I needed. For me it was eating a lot more calories and focusing on building muscle.
The biggest thing for me, though, was the inner work: finding happiness within myself at any size. Finding joy. Finding the things I’m really good at, and focusing on those.
